PURPOSE:To provide a power supply method and its device which are designed to reduce equipment cost and applicable to a crane controlled by inverters. CONSTITUTION:An electric power supply device is equipped with a common converter 50 installed on a fixed side, one direct current trolley line 51 connected to the positive pole of the output terminal of the common converter 50, a traveling rail 52 connected to the negative pole of the output terminal, a current collector 53 provided on a crane, and inverters 31, 32 and 33 for winding, traversing, and traveling. The common converter 50 supplies each of the inverters 31, 32 and 33 individually with direct current power of a constant voltage. |
