摘要 The stability/manoeuvrability of motorcycles has hitherto been compromised because the steering geometry was not variable. Solution: a device which makes it possible to vary the steering geometry, which consists of a shaft in the frame, at the height of the steering arm, transverse to the direction of advance and horizontal; a servo mechanism controlled by computer actuates the arm. As a function of the speed of the vehicle and of the position of the handlebars, both sets of data captured by suitable sensors, the computer decides on the optimum rake in all circumstances. Use in any motorcycle, especially competition bikes, trail bikes and high-performance bikes. <IMAGE>
