<p>PURPOSE:To extend a transmittable and receivable distance by widening the aperture area of a data transmitting-receiving coil-shaped antenna and to enhance function in a non-contact input/output type IC card performing the data reading and writing with an external processor according to a radio system. CONSTITUTION:In the IC card hating at least an IC chip and a data transmitting-receiving coil-shaped antenna built therein and having an insulating outer layer applied to the main surface thereon, the data transmitting-receiving coil-shaped antenna is integrally arranged to the inner surface of the insulating outer layer applied to the main surface of the card. Since the data transmitting- receiving coil-shaped antenna is integrally arranged to the rear (inside) of the insulating outer layer, the aperture area of a coil can be sufficiently widened and a transmittable and receivable distance by radio can be extended. Since the part mounting area on a printed circuit board is increased as a result, more elements or parts can be mounted and the enhancement of function can be realized.</p> |
