The plastic according to the invention is obtained based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) combined with one or more plasticisers; it also includes at least one complementary thermoplastic resin which is directly compatible with PVC and its plasticisers and which is present in amounts ranging from 5 to 95 % of the total weight of resin. This or these complementary thermoplastic resins may consist of a modified polyolefin copolymer which includes a polar group compatible with PVC and its plasticisers and/or of a thermoplastic elastomer of the thermoplastic-rubber type or thermoplastic-polyurethane type. In combination with complementary additives, the formulations obtained enable plastics to be obtained in the form of monolayer or multilayer sheets or widths.
