The method of dressing the lead sulphide ore, containing arsenic (As) and iron (Fe), comprises (1) maintaining a mineral solution in the pH range of 9.0-10.5 with a portland cement (containing 0.6 wt.% Ig-loss, 0.2 wt.% Ins-Res, 20.2 wt.% SiO2, 4.8 wt.% Al2O3, 3.4 wt.% Fe2O3, 65.6 wt.% GaO, 2.6 wt.% MgO, 1.9 wt.% SO3), (2) floating galena with inhibiting agent against impurities such as arsenic-contained iron sulphide, pyrrite and sulphur- contained pyrrohotite, and (3) inhibiting iron and arsenic sulphide. Then high quality lead (Pb), which has 80-84 wt.% Pb, less than 0.4 wt.% As and 1.5 wt.% iron, is obtained.
