These compounds are used in agriculture; in particular, in plant growing, due to their properties as growth regulators and herbicide agents. They are distinguished with high biological effects. They have a common formula<IMAGE>,where M is copper, cadmium, mercury, cobalt, zinc, H is halogenated nitrate or per chlorate ion, and n and m may take values of 1 or 2, and, according to this method, they are derived after interacting the liquid N-benzyl-N'-2-pyridylthiocarbamide with the respective metallic salt in ethanol solution.
