This method is used in nephrology. It is non-intrusive and simple. It allows for the dynamic tracking of the kidney condition of gouty patients. In this method, an ultrasonographic test is first carried out, which shows the following ultrasonographic features : evenness of the kidney contours, and uniform thickness of the parenchyma at slight enhancement of its echogenity to the first degree on the Hricak scale, while the shape of the pyramids is erased, and the parenchyma-pyelon index is reduced.
