The rail-suspension device comprises a U-section spring clip with a base and two arms, on which are locking devices engaging in recesses in the rail or under protrusions on it. A suspension lug is mounted on the base. The arms (4) protrude downwards from the base (3), their portions nearest to it being roughly parallel and spaced apart. Clear of the base each arm has a central rectangular opening (7) cut out of it. The screwed stem (8) of at least the same length as the arms on a separate suspension lug (6) passes through a central hole in the base, and accomodates a nut (9) protruding through the arm openings and occupying their full cross-sectional areas, and the nut is turned by hand via these protruding portions. ADVANTAGE - Easy height of carried rail adjustment after installation.
