<p>PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic recording and reproducing system capable of easily and securely performing the editing and management of reserved recording and the search of recording contents and which provides excellent handling for a user. CONSTITUTION:A memory part 9 storing the conditions for the reserved recording and the position (address) of a cassette shelf 1 to house respective tape cassettes 2 while corresponding them one to one, is provided. A system controller 11 refers to timer information and the contents of the memory, discriminates the tape cassette corresponding to the conditions for the reserved recording, takes it out of the cassette shelf with an elevator 4 and sets it in a VTR before the start of the program to be recorded according to the reservation.</p> |
