PURPOSE:To minimize the loss of the quantity of light by preventing axis deviation and angle deviation from being generated between connected optical fibers even when their connection state is switched. CONSTITUTION:Movable optical fibers 8 and 9 are fitted to a movable plate 43 and fixed optical fibers 11 and 12 are fitted to a fixed plate 51. The bending rigidity of the bent part 52 of a support piece 48 to the fixed plate 51 is made larger than the bending rigidity of the coupling part 49 between the support piece 48 and movable plate 43 and when a coil 59 is not excited, the movable plate 43 is pressed against a 1st stopper 44 with the displacing force of the bent part 52, so that the end surfaces of the movable optical fiber 9 and fixed optical fiber 11 face each other. When the coil 59 is excited, a magnetic piece 53 fitted to the movable plate 43 is attracted and then the movable plate 43 is pressed against a 2nd stopper 47 parallel to the 1st stopper 44, so that the end surfaces of the movable optical fibers 8 and 9 and fixed optical fibers 11 and 12 face each other. |
