PURPOSE:To reduce deterioration of the dyeing ability of an automatic specimen preparing device by adjusting the amount of specimen washing liquid automatically, and decreasing the amount of pigment removal after dyeing. CONSTITUTION:By a slide glass transporting mechanism 1, a blood coated specimen is first carried to a specimen fixing vessel 2, and then to a specimen dyeing vessel 3. The number of specimens prepared can be cumulatively updated according to information about manual entry by the user data from a blood coating device (mechanism), and dyeing frequency counter. Using the values thus cumulated, the rate of flow of the washing liquid in a specimen washing vessel 4 is adjusted by changing the area of a choke 6 on the way of the flow path or the opening/closing time of a solenoid valve 7, and thus a dyeing density suitable for classification is maintained. |
