PURPOSE: To completely introduce a pipetting insert into the stopper of an arbitrary sample container. CONSTITUTION: Individual sample containers 13 sealed by stoppers 14 are positioned at predetermined positions, and individual pipetting inserts 11 are sequentially conveyed to a distribution station 53. A press-fitting unit 55 is movable by a driver 54, and has a plunger 41. The unit 55 takes the insert 11 from the station 53, presses it to the stopper 14 of the container 13, and introduces it at least partly into the stopper 14. Hitting units 42, 43 contained in the unit 55 can apply at least once hit to the insert 11 by the plunger 41. |
