PURPOSE:To manufacture a polypropylene resin foam sheet having excellent molding processability at the time of secondary molding such as vacuum molding. CONSTITUTION:In a method for manufacturing a polypropylene resin foam sheet by foaming a polypropylene resin composition composed of a polyolefin resin containing 50wt.% or more of a polypropylene resin, the polypropylene resin composition is foamed and cooled in such a state that tensile force is always applied to said composition to obtain the polypropylene resin foam sheet wherein a heat-shrinkage foactor in the longitudinal direction thereof is 10% or more and the coefficient of thermal expansion in the thickness direction thereof is 30% or more.
