The guide for combined laying and guiding of copper and optical cables has an outer conduit (16) of concrete, ceramics, or plasticiser receiving a plastic cable guiding unit (17). The latter comprises a base with a hollow bead (18,19) at either side for carrying the optical cables. The width of the base is less than the internal dia. of the conduit (16) by a distance (X) which allows it to be repositioned within the conduit (16) to divide it into two internal compartments (21,22) in which the copper cables can be inserted.
