A system for assembling parts made of wood or similar material used in the joinery trade consists of combining, firstly, a thin, symmetrical and bent or folded part (6), then mouldings (1) made of wood or similar material, mitre-cut and including, preferably over the entire length, a groove in which one of the sides of the part can be inserted and secured, and finally an alignment pin (8) nailed or screwed into the moulding at right angles to the plane of the part and cooperating with the latter to guide and optionally block it in position. For use especially in making picture frames or frames for canvasses to be painted. |
