The controller has a terminal for connecting a remote-control section having a variable resistance circuit with two cables in order to set operation-state in a gas heater etc.. The controller comprises taget value setting section (50); remote control section (60) connected with one of a display lamp of a display load in a line, having a series circuit with VRC and a switch; two cables for connecting the section (60), which controls circuits by detecting voltage from a DC applied terminal and another earthing terminal. The controller determines control setpoint according to voltage at a sub-control unit terminal.
