PURPOSE:To realize an own route setting switch capable of multi-address communication concerning the multi-address communication system at the own route setting switch having plural incoming lines and plural outgoing lines so as to decide the outgoing line for transfer by analyzing the route set information of cells inputted to the respective incoming lines. CONSTITUTION:Route set information S to be added to the cell is composed of the set of bits respectively corresponding to the outgoing lines, only the bit corresponding to one or plural outgoing lines 22 to transfer the cell is set at a prescribed logical value, a unit switch 24 is provided for each incoming line 21 respectively corresponding to the outgoing lines 22, each unit switch 24 respectively analyzes the route set information S of the cell to be inputted, one or plural unit switches 24 setting the correspondent bit at the prescribed logical value transfer the cells to the correspondent outgoing lines, the plural kinds of the route set information are added to the cells, and the information is transferred through the own route setting switches in plural serially connected steps to the plural outgoing lines. |
