A digital control module (1) can be used for various functions on a road vehicle system and can be configured to suit different types of vehicle. The control module has inputs for 4 speed sensros (2-5) and has outputs, to 3 solenoid actuated valves of the type used in a braking system. An additional output (10) is used to control the braking pressure. Specific conditions relating to a vehicle are held in a non volatile memory (1") and when the unit is connected can be compared with actual vehicle conditions. Errors are significed by an xyz (13).
