<p>PURPOSE:To enable mutual access between the carrying mechanism of plural adjacent library device and a recording/reproducing means provided in the respective library devices by rotating the recording/reproducing means with a rotation mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A recording/reproducing control means 113 of respective library devices 110 provided adjacently to each other conducts the control of a recording/reproducing means 103 according to the direction from both direction generation means 112 of the two library devices 110. A rotation control means 114 controls the rotational operation by a rotation mechanism 111 according to the direction from both the direction generation means 112, and the rotation mechanism 111 rotates the recording/reproducing means 103. Thus, since the recording/ reproducing means of the two library devices 110 and the carrying mechanism 104 can be faced with each other via an opening part 105, the access between the carrying mechanism 104 of the two library devices 110 and both of the recording/reproducing means 103 provided in the respective library devices 110 can be enabled mutually.</p> |
