The sealing arrangement has a run-off channel (8) placed under the movable glass pane (2) to protect mechanical parts such as lock components inside the door from the ingress of rainwater. The run-off channel has an extension (8a) with an inward slope (12) which on winding up the window pane engages a sealing strip (10) which swivels about an axis (9) against the force of a spring. USE/ADVANTAGE - Sealing arrangement for a vehicle window which completely closes off the window cavity against water entry when the window is fully up.
