The system has the fibre bundle passing over a mobile table (5) between the two moving containers (3,4) following their movement. The bundle is picked up and gripped by a clamp mechanism (6,10) adjacent to the filled container. It is moved in the opposite direction to that in which the containers are travelling to send the coils on the table into an empty container. It is broken by the movement of the clamp at the end of the operation of automatic container changing.
