A PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A DURABLE FRAGRANT CLOTH

treating fabric of polyester fiber, containing silica oxide compds whose particle size is 0.05-1 μm and addition amount is 0.05-2 wt.%, with caustic soda solution; thus forming microcraters whose size is 0.05-10 m on the surface of polyester fiber; dipping this fabric into thermoreacting, water-soluble urethane resin solution which is added by microcapsules which are 1-15 m in particle diameter and contain aromatic essences; padding, drying and heat-curing the fabric. This method prevents aromatic essences from decomposition during fabrics's use and ensures the duration of the original aroma.
