INK CONTAINER AND INK FLOW MEMBER

PURPOSE:To provide a container imparting extremely excellent storage stability to oily ink in an ink jet recording system using oily ink. CONSTITUTION:An ink container whose part coming into contact with ink is composed of a polymer material with water absorption of 0.1% or less is excellent in specific resistance and solubility stability at the time of the keeping of oily ink. Further, the ink container formed using polyphenylene sulfide shows especially excellent effect. When oily ink with specific resistance of 1X10<6>OMEGA.cm is used, the ink container composed of a polymer material with water absorption of 0.1% or less shows especially marked improving effect. Therefore, when this ink container is used in an ink jet printer, stable injection of ink is obtained.
