PURPOSE:To enable a sensor resolution to be increased without changing an arrangement pitch of a supersonic vibrator group and furthermore without increasing a circuit scale. CONSTITUTION:A switching means constituting a matrix circuit for obtaining a supersonic image is provided with first and second input terminals 18a and 18b where first and second switch control signals are input and the first and second switch control signals control ON/OFF. Thus, one switching means can be controlled by a two-system control signal, two focuses can be given to a simultaneous selection element group by giving a two-system delay pattern to a reception signal, and sensing can be performed with 1/2 pitch of the arrangement pitch of the supersonic vibrator group. Furthermore, since it is necessary to prepare only two input terminals, the number of circuits may be increased only slightly. |
