PURPOSE:To attain a simulation system that can solve with high accuracy and stability a convection diffusion equation described in a simulation model of the weak ionization plasma, etc. CONSTITUTION:The logarithmic transformation processing is applied to the physical value, i.e., an unknown number of a convection diffusion equation, and the physical or boundary conditions are applied so that a term corresponding to the converted convection term is set at zero or the satisfactorily small value. Thus Peclet number is reduced in a boundary range and the simulation is carried out. That is, the model describing accuracy is never deteriorated since no correction is required to the physical constant of a basic equation (1), the memory capacity and the CPU time can be extremely reduced since it is not required to sufficiently reduce a mesh size (h) (2), and such a problem that is hitherto difficult to solve in a conventional method can be easily solved since no limitation is required to the division of mesh in terms of the numerical calculation with a continuous matter model described in a partial differential equation, etc., (3). |
