PURPOSE:To attain multiplex synchronization even when various different frame patterns are in coexistence. CONSTITUTION:Kinds of data frame patterns assigned to time slots TSI TSN are stored to a frame pattern kind storage section 23 in advance. Multiplex synchronization processing sections 21a-21n provided corresponding to different frame patterns (1st-n-th frame patterns) implement multiplex synchronization processing at each input of a frame bit and when a frame pattern designated to itself is detected, synchronization phase detection signals SPD1-SPDn. A selection section 25 selects a synchronization phase detection signal from the multiplex synchronization processing section in response to the kind of the frame pattern in a current time slot and inputs the selected signal to a phase synchronization section 27 and a phase synchronization section 28 rearranges a data in the relevant time slot based on the entered synchronization phase detection signal in a memory (aligner RAM) and outputs each data while the phases of the data are made identical. |
