PURPOSE:To obtain a metallic catalyst carrier which is able to prevent short- circuit of current and has mechanical strength in the metallic catalyst carrier provided on exhaust gas line of automobile. CONSTITUTION:In the metallic catalyst carrier which is constituted by integrating the metallic corrugated plate 1 with the metallic flat plate 2 by brazing and by making at least either of the metallic corrugated plate 1 or the metallic flat plate 2 out of one sheet of a metallic plate material, a spacer 3 made from an organic or an inorganic material which is non electrical conductive and is not decomposed or broken at the temp. of brazing is provided on a side face 2A of described metallic flat plate 2 and the other side face 2B to the side face 2A is brazed 5 with described metallic corrugated plate 1. |
