A display stand has a cross-section formed by a hollow triangle with the sides (10, 12, 14) of the triangle being of different lengths. Each side has one end extended beyond the corner of the triangle (16, 18, 20). The surface of each extension is serrated on the side adjoining the adjacent side of the triangle. The three angles of the triangle, which of course differ from each other, have preferred values of 45 deg., 60 deg. and 75 deg. The stand can be placed so that its display surface is inclined in any one of three possible angles.
