In producing an air cushioned sheet for insole by heatpressing two synthetic resin film sheets cut in a shape of shoesole, the two sheets are joined with each other to have air pockets (2a,2b,2c) respectively for the front ball portion, the arch portion and the heel portion, the pockets communicating with each other. The heel air pocket (2c) has underneath it an elastic tube air pump (3) to pump air in through a tube (6) having valves (5a and 5b) one for suction and the other for injection of the sucked air into the air pocket. The front air pocket (2a) has at its bottom a discharge valve (11) operating with the body weight on for closing and off for opening. The pump also operates with the ON-OFF application of the body weight through the heel to the air pocket.
