PURPOSE:To obtain a selection means which can select some item designation states of character modification that are necessary for execution of the function of a word processor which can designate plural character modification items to the input characters through a character modification screen. CONSTITUTION:A storage part 5 consisting of a semiconductor memory, a magnetic storage, etc., stores the document data 31 including the document information, the text data 32 which are included in the document data and controls the test information, the ruled line data 33 which control the ruled line information, the graphic data 34 which control the graphic information, etc. The character modification data 36 including the selection items of the present character modification are added together with the modification cancel data 40 which include a selection state where all items are designated for erasion and cancel of the character modification, and a character modification state selection part 46 which can perform the control to select one of those data included in the data 40 and takes out the selected data to the data 36. |
