PURPOSE:To accommodate variable length and fixed length frames to one and same exchange and to implement unified exchange with respect to the high speed large capacity matrix type time division label exchange system implementing exchange of a frame or a cell whose data transfer destination is stored to its head. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with an input frame distribution means 11 dividing frames inputted through plural input highways into a number corresponding to number of plural switch matrices 10 and an output frame composition means 12 composing an output data from each switch matrix 10 in an input form from the input highways so that data input output to/from the switch matrix 10 are interlocked in time division. |
