PURPOSE:To shorten a required time for copying without making a device large in size reducing the number of superposed images to the photosensitive body and without lowering image quality by making a speed at the time of transferring higher than the moving speed of a photosensitive body until developing. CONSTITUTION:An exposing device 4 positioned on each image carrier surface forms an electrostatic latent image according to a color on a photosensitive belt 2 by exposing with the image modulating light of the color which is color- separated in original scanning. When a color copy is obtained, the electrostatic latent image is formed by executing even electrostatic charge by an electrostatic charging device 3 while the photosensitive belt 2 is moving and exposing with the image modulating light of the color according to the original scanning. And as to the photosensitive belt 2, the image is developed by using toner whose color has a complementary color relation with a separated color exposed by a developing device 5 on each area constituted of a plane surface, and the image is visualized. When the visible image of a first color faces to a transferring drum 6, the photosensitive belt 2 is switched to a faster speed than the speed so far, and starts moving. |
