PURPOSE:To obtain information having high reliability by calculating the optimum measuring timing of the surface potential of a photosensitive body and toner adhering amount, based on the inside and outside conditions of a device, to output an image having high quality, to reduce the burden of a cleaning part, and to save toner. CONSTITUTION:This controller is provided with a sensor part 1 to measure the inside and the outside conditions of the device such as the surface potential of the photosensitive drum, the image density, the temperature and the humidity and a timer, a fuzzy arithmetic calculating device 3 to perform fuzzy calculation by using a parameter expressing the inside and outside conditions of the device obtained by the sensor part 1 and information from the operating panel of the device or an original, etc., and a manipulated variable producting part 4 to decide the measurement of the device condition and a controlling method with respect to an electrophotographic process accroding to output from the device 3. |
