PURPOSE:To easily confirm whether both tracer beam fiber cores to be connected are loaded at mutually faced positions or not and to prevent human error loading in the case of connecting a multiple optical fiber tape by using a direct core observation type optical fiber fusing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In the case of connecting the multiple optical fiber tape by using the direct core observation type optical fiber fusing mechanism, light is projected to an optical fiber core 3, the reflected light is observed at a black/ white TV camera 12 through a color filter 14, and an alarm is raised when the both tracer beam optical fiber cores are not loaded at the mutually faced positions but loaded at different positions. |
