The exhaust gas cleaning system has an inlet scoop (10) of the soot-burning filter unit (11) rigidly attached by a flange to a first exhaust gas collection manifold (3) and flexibly attached by a connecting piece (15) to a second exhaust gas collection manifold (4). The filter unit is positioned directly beneath one of the two manifolds.
