Compsn. consists of (A) a polyether- and/or polyesterurethane prepolymer, (B) bitumen, (C) oily or soft resin such a butylurethane-HCOH-carbamic ester resin, (D) 2,3-dibenzyltoluene, (E) stabiliser and opt. (F) usual additives, up to 10 wt. % solvent, adhesion promoter, (in)organic fibres and/or fillers. The wt. ratio (A):(B) is 70:30 to 30:70, pref. 50:50, of (A+B):(C+D) is 40:60 to 90:10, pref. 50:50 to 80:20, of (A):(C) is 40:60 to 85:15, pref. 50:50 to 80:20 and of (B):(D) is 40:60 to 90:10, pref. 50:50 to 85:15. (A) is pref. a diol-diisocyanate prepolymer, esp. a polyether-diol-diisocyanate prepolymer partic. a polypropylene glycol-diol-diphenylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate prepolymer. (B) is distd. or blown bitumen. (E) is diphenylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate. Compsn. is esp. prepd. by (a) mixing (A) and (C), (b) dissolving (B) and (D) and reacting the soln. at room temp. with a small amt. of (E), and (c) mixing (a) and (b).
