PURPOSE:To make it possible to mount an electronic part of any size by an operation of minimum strokes by providing a suction nozzle capable of changing the stroke of a rise after the suction nozzle holds an electronic part in accordance with the height of the electronic part. CONSTITUTION:A part supplying unit 1 contains a plurality of large-size electronic parts 3 to supply the large-size electronic part 3 to a part suction-holding section. As for the operation of it, the suction nozzle 2 lowers to the upper surface of the large-size electronic part 3 contained in the part supply unit 1 to hold the electronic part 3 at first. Then, the suction nozzle 2 starts to move horizontally after the suction nozzle 2 rises by a minimum limit stroke 3 required for the vertical movement. The minimum limit stroke 3 is determined on the basis of the height of the electronic part 3 which is sucked. And the nozzle 2 transfers the large-size electronic part 3 to a specified position on the printed circuit board. Thus, it is made possible to mount large-size electronic parts 3 with various sizes on the printed circuit board in a short time. |
