PURPOSE: To inexpensively recover Rh and Ru catalysts from solutions of hydrogenated nitrile rubbers, by using an absorbent comprising a specific organosiloxane copolymer. CONSTITUTION: Rh and/or Ru compounds, used for the homogeneous catalysis of hydrogenation of nitrile rubbers using hydrogen in organic solvents, are recovered from solutions of hydrogenated nitrile rubbers. Here, absorbents comprising specific organosiloxane copolycondensates corresponding to formulae I-III are used. As a result, Rh and Ru catalysts are recovered inexpensively from solutions of hydrogenated nitrile rubbers. |
