DUPLICATING METHOD OF TIME SWITCH

The method is to operate time switches of a NAS to CEPT signal converter so that channel is re-assigned regardless to the kind of trunk. The method comprises: (A) reassigning channels of a main and an auxiliary time switch for converting digital signal transmitted through a NAS trunk or a CEPT trunk; (B) initializing fault flag, operating the time switches and sending diagnosis data through a special stream output terminal; (C) inspecting the fault flags and input diagnosis data and for the normal condition, enabling the main time switches to convert input digital signals; (D) setting the fault flags and switching on the auxiliary switches for the abnormal condition of the main time switches; and (E) operating the auxiliary time switches and checking the fault of the switches.
