PURPOSE:To suppress excessive bias current supply in an originating monitoring state and to reduce the power consumption in the subscriber circuit by starting the supply of bias current when speech path loop formation is detected. CONSTITUTION:A loop detection part 2 monitors a speech path loop formation with a subscriber telephone 1, outputs the power supply instruction against a bias current supply part 4 through loop formation. The bias current supply of the supply part 4 against a prescribed circuit 3 results in the bias current supply control to unnecessary circuits in an originating monitoring state and low-power operation of a subscriber circuit (DLC). Moreover, the bias current supply to the necessary circuits is continued even during the state. |
