摘要 PURPOSE:To provide efficient illumination in uniform, low-damping, and bright luminous intensity distribution with light reflected in a surface-luminous condition by composing a surface-luminous lighting apparatus for hanging from a ceiling with a surface-luminous lighting unit consisting of an annular light source, annular light guiding body, and reflecting plate. CONSTITUTION:A lighting apparatus 1 is composed of four light-leading tapered rings 2b having an equal gradient and made of excellently transmittable materials such as a small tube annular fluorescent lamp 2a and methyl methacrylate polymer, the outermost layer of the other side surface of each ring 2b is extended its length in proportion to near the inner layer side, is laminated in stages, and one end is arranged properly to be made a light incident side surface (a) and the other end is made stage- like to be made a light outgoing side surface (b). The fluorescent lamp 2a and a conical reflecting plate 2c are spliced to the side surfaces (a) and (b) respectively, and the rings 2b and the fluorescent lamp 2a are retained and the peripheral surface of the fluorescent lamp 2a is surrounded with the reflecting plate 2c to conceal the fluorescent lamp 2a. Thus lights are concentrated on the side surface (a) of the ring 2b, and are reflected in a surface-luminous condition to make uniform and effective illumination with bright luminous intensity distribution.
