PURPOSE:To highly accurately control and adjust an optical path length of a resonator by forming an organic luminous layer by the Langmuir-Blodgett's technique between first and second reflecting layers as resonators, and changing the layer thickness and composition of the organic luminous layer. CONSTITUTION:A silicon dioxide layer and a zinc oxide layer are alternately vacuum-deposited on a silicon substrate 1 to obtain a first reflecting layer 2a, a first intermediate layer 3a, composed of stearic acid, nonadecane acid, and arachidic acid etc., is laminated on the first reflecting layer 2a, and an organic luminous layer 4 including a cyanine dye as a luminous substance, is formed on the first intermediate layer 3a by the Langmuir-Blodgett's technique. Next, a second intermediate layer 3b and a second reflecting layer 2b composed of the same substance are provided on the layer 4 to be covered with another luminous layer 4, and plural layers of this group are laminated. Then electron beams from an electron beam irradiation device or a light 7 is radiated to an intermediate layer which lamination is finished to be exposed on a surface, and the luminous substance is made an excited condition to obtain an output light 8 transmitting a reflecting layer to be outgoing from the inside. Thus energy conserved in a luminous substance can be effectively utilized. |
