PURPOSE:To replace only the specified string out of the same character strings among the data in a data file with another character string. CONSTITUTION:The desired character string to be replaced and the number of characters to be displayed before and after it are designated from a character designating part 1. A character string retrieving part 2 retrieves the character string from a data file 10, and reads it out together in front and behind the character strings designated, and stores the reading position to a key in a character string information storing part 3. An operator displays the stored content and designates the character string to be replaced. A character string replacing part 6 changes the character string of the data file to a new character string to the reading position key for the designated character string only. |
