PURPOSE:To obtain a solid electrolyte fuel battery of high performance suitable for constituting a module in a simplified manufacturing process by integrally constituting a solid electrolyte film and an air electrode having an exposed portion, where the thickness thereof can be arbitrarily adjusted, and pouring slurry into a closing mold and a penetrating mold so as to form an electrolyte mold and an air electrode mold, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Slurry including zirconia incorporating a stabilizer therein is poured into a closing mold 4A having a water absorbing characteristic, thus obtaining an electrolyte mold 5. Slurry including metal oxide is poured into the electrolyte mold 5 with a penetrating mold 4B having a water absorbing characteristic laid on the closing mold 4A, thereby obtaining an air electrode mold 6, followed by drying. After the closing mold 4A and the penetrating mold 4B are removed, the mold 6 is baked, whereby a solid electrolyte-air electrode complex having an exposed portion in the air electrode can be obtained. |
