PURPOSE:To effectively conduct tests relating to the operation of control systems, without interrupting the operation of CPU, by monitoring the test with CPU of the terminal station for automatic return, in the folded test with a plurality of terminal stations connected to the control station. CONSTITUTION:A control station 1 and a plurality of terminal stations 10, 20, 30 are connected with a pair of lines 21, 22 to execute the folding test at the location of the terminal stations 10, 20, 30. In this test, the folding instruction including the address of the terminal stations 10, 20, 30 to be folded from the control station 1 is transmitted, and it is received at the transceiver 11 provided at the stations 10, 20, 30 to monitor the address by a CPU12. The folding instruction is discriminated with the address monitored by CPU12, and when an instruction in agreement with the address is received, the folding switch S3 used for the folding adaptor 13 is turned on for the folding test, and the reception terminal during test is monitored with CPU12 to enable automatic restoration to the state before the test with the test end instruction including the address from the control station 1. |
