PURPOSE:To simplify a manufacturing process by pouring slurry incorporating metal oxide therein into an electrolyte mold so as to provide a complex mold having an air electrode mold on the electrolyte mold. CONSTITUTION:Slurry containing zirconia incorporating a stabilizer therein is poured into a hydroscopic mold 4, thus obtaining an electrolyte mold 5. Slurry including metal oxide is poured into the electrolyte mold 5, thereby constituting an air electrode mold 6. The mold 6 is dried and the mold 4 is removed, followed by baking, thus obtaining a solid electrolyte-air electrode complex having an air electrode inside and a solid electrolyte film outside. Since the solid electrolyte film and the air electrode can be integrally constituted and a thickness thereof can be arbitrarily adjusted, it is possible to achieve high performance of a solid electrolyte fuel battery. Furthermore, it is possible to simplify a manufacturing process because the electrolyte mold 5 and the air electrode mold 6 are formed by pouring the slurry into the mold 4. |
