PURPOSE:To automatically grind and the contact tip flaw by on-line without executing manual grinding by on-line, to improve the productivity of the line, and also, to improve the appearance grade of a product tube. CONSTITUTION:In the electric resistance welded tube manufacturing line in which a contact tip 15 is allowed to abut on the outside surface of both edge parts of a tube stock 14, and both the edge parts of the tube stock 14 are welded electrically, a grinding device 30 is installed between a tube stock welding position and a tube stock sizing area, and a contact tip flaw 32 generated in the periphery of a tube stock weld zone is eliminated by the grinding device 30. |
