PURPOSE: To provide a mass storage semiconductor memory by applying mechanical vibration. CONSTITUTION: In the micro vibration memory device, the array of storage bits is arranged at the end parts of plural cantilevers which can vibrate and a read/write head 27 whose character resembles to a scanning tunnel microscope or an atomic microscope scanning step is provided by making face the array 26. Furthermore, a circuit group constituted of a micro processor, a multiplexer/ demultiplexer, a power source, a detection circuit, a digital/analog and analog/ digital conversion circuits and a switch means which makes all the functions to be appropriately addressed with the correct bit array and with a corresponding sub-device are contained.
