PURPOSE:To provide a seat cushion material with low production cost for a vehicle by solidifying a mold holding agent applied to the surface of slab urethane to form a mold holding agent layer between the slab urethane and a base material and bonding both members to each other to hold a solid form suited for predetermined seating. CONSTITUTION:The whole seat cushion material 1 mounted to spring mechanisms 4, 5 provided respectively on frames 2, 3 is covered with a skin 6. A base material 8 formed of slab urethane is applied to a mold holding ageant applied to the upside surface of slab urethane cut into a predetermined form. The mold holding agent is solidified to form a mold holding layer 7 between the slab urethane and base material 8 and both are bonded to each other to hold a predetermined solid form. The mold holding agent is sprayed to the front and rear faces of the slab urethane, and sprayed slab urethane is compressed by a metal mold, resin mold, wooden mold, etc., and then caused to react to the addition of water or infusion of steam to provide the predetermined solid form, so that the production cost can be reduced. |
