PURPOSE:To culture a bacterium belonging to the genus Campylobacter, a bacterium causing diarrhea to be detected from patients of diarrhea in high ratio, drawing public attention in terms of public heath. CONSTITUTION:A bacterium belonging to the genus Campylobacter inoculated into a flat plate medium is put in a closed container of a carbon dioxide generating type, capable of controlling oxygen and carbon dioxide concentrations for optimum growth of the bacterium within a short time and having a base impregnated with water and a deoxidant, to culture the bacterium belonging to the genus Campylobacter. |
